Y gwaredigion canent fawl

Y gwaredigion canent fawl
  I Dduw gerdd nodawl gysson;
Y sawl achubwyd, caned hyn,
  O law y gelyn creulon.

Addefant hwythau ger ei fron,
  Ei fwynion drugareddau;
Ac er plant dynion fel y gwnaeth
  Yn helaeth ryfeddodau.

Aberthant hefyd aberth mawl,
  I'w ogoneddawl fawredd;
A mynegant ei waith a'i wyrth,
  Yn ei byrth mewn gorfoledd.

gwelir: Molwch yr Arglwydd can's da yw

Let the delivered sing praise
  To God with a constant, notable song;
Those who were saved, let them sing this,
  From the hand of the cruel enemy.

They profess before him,
  His tender mercies;
And that for the children of men he wrought
  Great wonders.

They sacrifice a sacrifice of praise,
  To his glorious majesty;
And they expressed his work and his wonders
  In his gates with jubilation.

 2 Let those give thanks whom he from bands
     of proud oppressing foes released;
 3 And brought them back from distant lands,
     from north and south, and west and east.

 8 O then that all the earth with me
     would God for this his goodness praise,
   And for the mighty works which he
     throughout the wond'ring world displays!

22 With off'rings let his altar flame,
     whilst they their grateful thanks express,
   And with loud joy his holy Name
     for all his acts of wonder bless.
